OpenNTF is establishing an "advisory council" to provide direction, strategy, support and service to the OpenNTF community. The council will meet periodically to focus on the needs of the site and community. Additional duties of the council will include:
- Develop procedures for council membership, terms, duties etc.
- Set guidelines for the relationship between OpenNTF and the Lotus user community. This includes site capabilities, licensing options for projects, etc.
- Set guidelines for the relationship between OpenNTF and IBM. This includes Lotusphere participation, software availability, etc.
- Advise on major operational decisions such as hosting sites, regional clusters, etc.
- Advise on related extensions to OpenNTF such as Show n' Tell Thursdays, Taking Notes podcast, complementary technologies, etc.
You can nominate as many individuals as you like, and Bruce has encouraged me to encourage you to do so. So take your OpenNTF username and password and make your submissions.
