Lotus Symphony Buzz is Growing - Just Ask the Admin

Category

Ask the AdminI can't remember which of our other Domino Blogger friends to thank for linking me a few weeks ago to Karl L. Gechlik's "Ask the Admin" blog (which is not a Domino Blog), but I'm glad they did as it is quite an interesting general interest geek/tech resource.  I'm also glad they did because today I caught this post about IBM's recent release of Lotus Symphony.

I have downloaded it and gave it a mild test run this morning. It is quicker to open than other distros of Open Office and a lot easier on the eyes for sure. I'll be playing with it as much as I can over the next few weeks to see if it is a viable alternative to Orifice.

Note that Karl is a "Microsoft Certified Admin".  It should be interesting to get his take on the product in the weeks ahead.
