Skype + Firefox + Laptop = Coolest Portable SpeakerPhone Ever

External ImageAlthough it apparently is not a new feature of Skype, it only showed up after I recently rebuilt my ThinkPad and installed the latest version. The Skype Extension for Firefox has for the moment become my favorite new toy (at least until I pick up a Blackberry Storm on Friday), because it automatically turns phone numbers on web pages into one-click dial buttons. Having also signed up for Skype's unlimited US landline calling plan (<$3/month), and having a ThinkPad with a great speaker and mic, I now have the best sounding and most convenient speakerphone I've ever owned. With this new power, I can do cool things like this:
