DCNUG Needs a New Venue

DCNUG needs a new home !!

As a result of Jack Dausmann taking a new job, the DC Notes User Group is looking for a new venue to host the meetings. As Jack pointed out here,

"We have a great community, outstanding speakers are lined up, new products are being unveiled . . . but we need a meeting place."

He and I discussed this yesterday, and agree our best bet is to find a bar/restaurant with a separate meeting room, somewhere near downtown along a metro line. I don't know how other user groups work in this regard, but I have to think hosting the meetings in a restaurant setting, where drinks and hors d'œuvres are readily available, would increase the social/networking aspect of the meetings, and probably draw a bigger crowd.

So, if you happen to know of a suitable place, preferably with a project installed for laptop presentations, we'd love to hear from you.
